Breakthrough [online]

Welcome to our weekly online Prayer & Worship evening, Breakthrough.

These short evenings are always uplifting, as we look to Holy Spirit to lead our prayers for the Church and for the world.
We generally start with some worship, followed by a time of prayer on a particular topic, and then we will hold a time of reflection to hear from God.

While the first Tuesday of the month is in person, every other week is online.

We use the same zoom link each week, so once you have signed up once, you'll receive the meeting invitation and you do not need to sign up again.

We look forward to seeing you online!

SUNDAY MORNING - [Onsite]

Join us Onsite

Join us on Sunday mornings live in the building - no booking required!
Please read through our FAQs to discover what Sundays look like.

Vineyard Kids

We have fantastic Vineyard Kids groups (0-10 years) onsite too - simply show up on the day. Please note that we operate our Kids Registration System as each Kids Group has a limited capacity to keep children safe. Our Kids Registration system will be open between 15 mins before the service starts (11.15am). We will close the Kids Registration system 15 mins after the service starts (at 11.45am). If you turn up late then you are welcome to take your child into the main service with you, or head to our Kids Lounge where your child can play and you can watch the Service through a live TV stream.

Youth

We have Sunday morning youth sessions alongside the 11.30am service. Find out more at Youth.

Live Stream

Unable to join us in the building? Continue to connect with us from the comfort of your own home and watch the live stream. You can still drop your comments in the live chat. Tune into our Church Online or YouTube Channel at 11.30am.

First Time Here?

If you've not joined us before and want to know what to expect, we start with a band leading us in contemporary worship music and after a few announcements, there is a relevant bible-based talk. Prayer is available to everyone afterwards for whatever you need; there's nothing too big or small to ask for, so don't hesitate to talk to one of our trained prayer team members. We aim for the service to last 90 mins.

Face Masks

Should you still feel uncomfortable sitting close to others, we have a masked section upstairs on the balcony for mask-wearers only.

Baby Dedications

Baby Dedications

  • The Vineyard Church St Albans (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Baby Dedications are an opportunity to give thanks to God for the safe arrival of a new baby. We love to encourage families to dedicate their little ones, and older children if you have not had the opportunity in the last couple of years.

During the Sunday Service after a time of worship families will be invited up on stage to share a brief testimony or word of thanks. The church family will be encouraged to stand with you and pray for you as the Pastor leading the service prays for your child.

We are returning to a smaller number of families this year, as we hope that we can re-introduce 4 quarterly dedications for 2023

So if you have a little one that you’d like to dedicate, and you would like to find out more then please email the Children’s Pastor Maria Marr

Restore - A prayer Centred Course

  • The Vineyard Church St Albans (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Restore is a 10 week course which provides the opportunity for you to address personal issues in a safe and confidential environment, uncovering habitual deceptions you’ve believed about yourself, other people and God’s character.

Essentially, Restore is a prayer-centered course that aims to teach you how to use the tools you need to actively rely on Jesus and how to access healing from wounds and disappointments you may have experienced. Find out more here.

Many people who’ve completed the course have fed back that they’ve experienced a level of transformation, enabling them to move into
deeper, healthier relationships with God, themselves and others.

You will need to complete and return an application form before the closing date of Wednesday 6th September. We charge a £60 course fee which helps us to cover your Restore course materials & our running costs. You can just pay a £20 deposit for now though.

Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate Restore Co-Ordinator and we will advise whether we are able to offer to you a place on the course as soon as possible. If, for any reason, we are not able to offer you a space – your deposit will be fully refunded.

Please note, you will need to be a committed member of a Connect Group or Serving Team to be eligible to attend this course.

If you have any difficulties accessing the application form above or if you have any questions, please email Restore@thevineyardchurch.co.uk
